How To Combat Back Pain

Do you want to know the best moves to combat back pain?

Back pain grows over time from loss of strength, bone, joint, disc degeneration, as well as poor posture and movement patterns.

So what can you do about it?

Back Pain

FIRST...

Here are 4 steps to correct your posture while you are sitting or standing:

  1. If you are standing; place your feet hip width apart so your femurs or upper leg bones align with your pelvis. If you are sitting; push your hips and shoulders to the back of the chair.
  2. Draw your tailbone downwards until your pelvis is level front to back
  3. Check if your pelvis is level by placing your index finger on the top of your front hip bone and your thumb on top of the hip bone on your back. This way you can feel if your pelvis is tilted backward or forward.
  4. While you exhale, draw in your abdominals gently and hold yourself in this position while you breathe normally.

Practice these 4 techniques everyday for longer and longer durations until you are comfortable holding this position all day long.

NEXT...

Begin doing some core conditioning moves daily. These include spinal balance, side and prone hovers, abdominal brace, and deadbug.

FINALLY...
